First of all, i can get my “boat” to move properly that i imported from 3DS Max. I dont know if i export it properly from 3Ds.
Second: i want to move it with W/A/S/D, but the i want the camera to to be in a, ehm, RTS angle.
I want to use the mouse for lets say push and hold the middle mousebutton for the camera to rotate around the boat, left mousebutton for firing in a certain direction, ( and ofc a crosshair instead of cursor)
and the right mousebutton for targeting. like u select a unit in a RTS.
and my “boat” keeps “sinking” through the water all the time.
The is a lot of camera work. It’s not easy to make something like that. Your best bet is to either research movement with your mouse using Input.mouseposition or to look on the asset store for something someone made that you can buy. You can do it on your own but the question is how much time do you want to spend on it.
If your going to do it yourself look at these

Your going to have to get creative when rotating around an object. Use this to make sure your camera stays looking at the target,

Firing a bullet is pretty easy,

And selecting Units is pretty simple as well, just us OnMouseDown on your units, if you want to multi select then your going to have to do some research on multi object selection.
thx for the reply. but the other problem is the movement. i cant get it right. i want it to forward with W, turn left/right with A/D and go backwards with S and ofc keep the camera focused on the player, but not rotating with the player.
What you can do it make an empty game object and attach it to the player. Then have your camera follow that empty object, so when your character turns your camera won’t.
