Hi there everyone!, well my team made a 3d model for a mobile game, when i import it to unity everything is ok but as we wanted more quality we made a normal map to make it look smoother. But as soon as i put the normal map on unity it look weird, i tried flipping g channel, r channel and nothing works. On Maya it look awesome with the normal map but we can’t achieve to set the same quality on unity :c does anyone know why this is happening?
Btw we used ZBrush to create the normal map :3
thanks!

Hey Fabi - honestly I don’t see any normal map information in either of the images you provided.
Normal mapping is best used for bumpy surface detail.
Anyway it kind of sounds like you are attempting to apply the normal map to the model you previously had in Unity. Try re-exporting the model from Maya with the normal map applied into Unity.
A couple other helpful tips, normal maps require lights to work properly so if you don’t have any lights in the scene or none casting shadows - you won’t see your normal information.
Beyond that, the images you provided are really small and don’t provide enough information to offer any additional help.
Update if you figure out the problem, or if you don’t find the solution update with better images of your model, the scene setup, and the inspector with the shader selected
