Help with script for visual novel pose sequence

Hey everyone! I’m a complete beginner with unity. I’m trying to learn how to make a visual novel using this tutorial:

http://www.indiana.edu/~gamedev/2015/09/27/creating-a-visual-novel-in-unity/

The author gives a lot of pretty detailed scripts. There’s one script meant for making character pose element prefabs, but it doesn’t seem to be working for me. I feel like it might be a version issue. If anyone knows how I might be able to rewrite this so it works for the current version of unity I’d be forever grateful! (Or help me out with an alternative code…)

  public Sprite[] characterPoses = null;

It should end up looking like this when I plug it in to the character game object:

But it comes up completely empty, even though I entered the same exact code. Please help me! It’s 5 am and I’m going crazy…

Okay, so this might be a rather trivial fix if you haven’t already found it…
Is there a little triangle arrow on the script? :slight_smile:
click the arrow, and then you can do 1 or the other (or a mixture): drag the prefabs the the area just to the right of the ‘characterPoses’ variable name.
or type ‘3’ in the Size field and then drag them in one at a time :slight_smile: Hopefully that helps.
