Can someone please help me? I’m a highschool student who has to use Unity for my game design class. Lately Unity has not been working at all for me! When I try to open it, an error message appears. when I click cancel, the main menu pops up, but won’t let me open any of my projects. My school tech support can’t help, and I can’t find a number to call. At this point I’ll have to uninstall and start from square one, which my teacher and I both don’t want to do.
Your teacher should be the one helping you by giving you a stable working environment. If they can’t, then ask why not.
You could start by mentioning what this error message is that you are seeing. Can’t help fix an error without knowing what the error is, obviously. Also, what version of Unity, what operating system, has Unity worked before, etc?
Any errors in the editor log can also be helpful. Here is how to find it:
