Hello Unity Users i need you just to help me with my decision nothing more.

I have problem about my work.
I need to make decision about it and i have to choose one of two types of game making.

  1. A sci fi type of game 3rd person RPG i already have all ideas all structure of gameplay everything some of the work is already done people are impress and so on but i don’t have pleasure form making this type of game because i prefer all type game i will get to it in second game type. Problem is that even if i don’t like this type of game making some people are and those people want me to make it lets say that if i will stop some people will be sad because they wanted this game to be created.

  2. This type of game is a old type of medivel one 3rd person RPG so you can say that is like first game but its medivel one and the same like up everything about structure of the game and gameplay is done and this is one i would love to do and i think i could do it 10 times better than the frist one but people think soon it will be Lineage 3 . Guild Wars 2 and new world of warcraft or something like that so much less people are interest of it.

Just tell me what you would choose 1 or 2 and why.

Apart the fact that this question really doesn’t belong to this section of the forums… my suggestion is to put something NEW into your games apart graphics and audio.
IMHO there’s no point in copying from this and that game… there are so many damn clones around already.

GODLIKE you complitly didnt udnearstand what he was saying -_- next time just read all of text than write back Johnxyz its depends of how many people you will make upset about this changing if i was in your position i would do first the sci-fi one and than with tons of skills from making sci-fi game make the second one medivell type and dont think about those high commercial games because in future befor you will finish your game there will be other games like that :slight_smile: oh and its World of Warcraft Cataclysm if you want to know :). Do the 1 one and than with all of skill you get form it creat second one

Oh and if its pissible can i be tester of your games ? Really looking forward of what you will do because i really like sci-fi type of games too like Mass Effect or Singularity.

I’m not sure why you’d think a bunch of strangers are going to be your best source of advice for something like this.

Frankly, you should be consulting with your team members, seeing as they’re the ones who will be directly affected by a decision of this scale.

Thanks Dares for your help i think you are right and yes you can be tester i will send you the code to game and put you in server number 3 if its ok with you thanks once again for good advice.
