We have just purchased Unity after testing the demo! and were very pleased at how well it’s been put together and even more so how easy it is to pick-up the basics.
Anyway hello from the UK
On a side note, I’ve been creating 3D work for a good 10 years now! and am interested in making the move from what I do now to games! how hard is it to beak into games in the UK? is there a shortage of staff?, here’s a a little shot of some of my work, I guess I’ll need to knock-up a more game related demo reel and give it a try. I’m hoping using Unity will give me some insight into games and asset creation.
Thanks to Unity and how easy it is for an artist to get artwork into it to play with. I have learned everything I know about game art. I still have a long way to go but Unity makes the process much easier, fun, and intuitive. Welcome to the Unity community. - Jeff

Yes, welcome aboard! As far as breaking into the games space in the UK goes I don’t have anything specific to offer. Perhaps other UK users can chime in?
