Hi, New to Unity and the forums. I have a few questions.

Not sure if this is the right section, If its not i apologize.

So i have decided to start a game using unity (I hope) I’ve tested the software and after using a few tutorials i had the basic walking around throwing objects down.

Now, before I get to excited. I have no previous programming experience, The game i’m planning is pretty complicated, I know anything is possible but i’m more or less trying to determine if unity would be the right choice for me before i dive into it.
I have been researching and planning every possible aspect of my game on paper and the next step would be to start programming the core, So i guess my questions are: Is it possible using unity to achieve a multi combination/outcomes, fairly large trackable inventory, Multi level, levels(sounds wierd lol) and online client updates from a server? Also because of the nature of my game I’ve been looking into and researching low poly models and assets, How much information (services in the game) can i run effectivly without losing framerate/playability?

Thanks!!

Of course Unity can do that, the core is already programmed in Unity. The main question is are you interested enough?

Read this thread and you’ll see where you can get a free PDF book to learn Unity.

You can do whatever you want.

Depends on the hardware, and how efficiently you’re programming stuff.
