Hide all children GameObjects under a parent

In the unity inspector I have a parent with GameObjects in them. How can I hide all children GameObjects from a given parent during runtime ?

if from hide you mean de-activate than you can do like this:

for(int i=0; i<parentobj.transform.childCount; i++)
    {
       parentobj.transform.GetChild(i).gameObject.setActive(false);
    }
