Hide device navigation bar on Nexus devices

Hi, I would like to know if there is a way to hide device navigation bar. I’m referening to a bar on nexus devices which contains ‘back’, ‘home’ and ‘tasks’ options.

Please kindly tell me if there is a way, if so, please help me with pointers.

It’s called Immersive mode.

You can achieve this in one of three ways.

  1. Through a java plugin - write it yourself or get one from the asset store
  2. Use the AndroidJava* script api
  3. Wait for Unity 5.0
