Hide dock icon?

Is there a way to hide the Unity Hub dock icon on macOS?

Currently, the icon will be there while the hub is running.
But, it is a very good point, and we will consider to have an option for that

For example, JetBrains Toolbox only shows an icon in the menu bar, not the dock.

I agree that toolbar should be more adjustable

I’d also like this. I don’t really use Unity Hub because it clutters up my dock, which is already very full.

It would be cool if this could work like Flux, Dropbox, OpenVPN, etc. I think the Unity Hub toolbar icon is very helpful, and it has a way to open the main application (“Open Unity Hub” option). But if I close the main Unity Hub window, it also kills the toolbar icon.

[Mac] Make Hub not show up in the dock

I think it would be cool if the Unity Hub did not show up in the dock, and only showed in the menu bar up top. I've seen other applications do that, so I know it's possible. Being in 2 places at once is a bit overkill in my opinion.

Feature Request: Make the dock hidden by default.
