Higgy B's Sweet Ride....

I live not to far from Bethesda Softworks, and marvel at the cars I see pulling in and out of the place on a daily basis. Probably couldn’t throw a rock without hitting five Ferrari’s. Anyway, got me to thinking, with all the success Unity has had over the last year, what would Higgy B be driving these days.

So…here is my guess. Curious to know what others think.

nah this is more like it

You mean he doesn’t drive a Prius?

Not sure if Tom prefers 4-wheel “stuff” to his beloved 2-wheel rides?

If I was to blow a wad of cash on anything, it would definitely be something with two wheels… Enter the Ducati Desmodici RR:

 8)

Until that day comes, I’ll just have to ride around in the company’s new blinged out Hummer:

:stuck_out_tongue:

lol. suits me as well but I still prefer the veyron over a motocicleta. but any how a hummer is also muy bueno.

también yo prefiero ferrai fxx.

Meh, for now I’ll take any cash with me on a ride around the world on my current bike which I’m absolutely in love with…

I love cars and anything with a motor and power, but two wheels is where my passion lies so there!

Aren’t those off-road tires, Tom?

YES!

I tried to spend as much time off-road on my KTM as possible, going places like this:

Using roads like this:

And after Unite I’m off for a week’s vacation in which I’m spending 8 days riding (solo) off-road in northern Baja California (Mexico). I get my speed jollies at the track now, but when not at the track I’m looking for as much dirt as possible… w00t!

The Duc is a sweet ride but up here in Wa. those tires will get you killed.

I like this off-roader. It’s a chinese brand, right?

Fair enough Tom, offroad is way better anyways

I’m not entirely sure of the ‘truthyness’ (thnx colbert) of the following :

Somewhere I picked up its bad practice to ride dirt tires on streets, wears them down a lot faster and doesn’t provide a safe amount of traction.

Once again, might be an old wives tale … just we cant afford to loose our HiggyB

Knobbies do offer less traction on the street than normal tires and knobbies do wear away quicker on pavement than on dirt, but during “off-road season” (spring through fall) I keep knobs on just to (a) keep me calm in the city, and (b) ready for a dirt ride at a moment’s notice. As a long-time rider I’m well equipped to adjust my riding style.

Soon enough winter will be upon us at which point I’ll go with regular street “shoes” once again.

And on a KTM. Man, just when I though HiggyB couldn’t be any cooler…there you go. Rock on!

I wonder if we will ever see Rossi racing one of these. Nice to see Stoner back in the saddle!

@HanulTech: I’m glad you dig my riding plan. I’ll be posting photos, videos and a ride report when I’m back (not here but rather elsewhere). I’ll let you know about 'em when done if you’re interested.

@artzfx: It’d be interesting for Rossi to ride a Ducati for at least one season before he retires.

I hope he does, the Italians would go nuts!

Stoner seems the only guy able to ride the existing Ducati, so be great to see Stoner and Rossi head to head on the same bike. Did you watch the Phillip Island GP? it was a slide fest, brilliant.

Hah! I saw Tom today driving by near the UT office and THAT was his new vehicle!

Really, trust me.

lol. What did you do photoshop tom’s face onto that kids face? tisk tisk tisk you should do it on a tricycle!

Nah, no photoshop, I really photographed him like that near the Moscone center today. Really!
