High radius depth of field hard edges issue

Hi! I’m having an issue with hard edges appearing around the items lying in the near range of DoF in HDRP when setting a high radius to display high blurriness.

These are my settings for the DoF override and the post-processing in HDRP Asset


Is there any way around it to get a smoother transition with high quality? Thank you.

Build Platform: Windows
Unity version: 2019.4.25f1
HDRP version: 7.6

Update:
Tried also in 2020.3 and HDRP 10.5 and got the same issue with the physical camera DoF


Hey, you probably want to use the physically based one, with high quality filtering.
