Hi All,

I have just started a new little series of videos where I check out different Unity3D Assets.

This started because I found myself buying assets which would turn out to be a bit disapointing or not as pretty as the screenshots show them to be. Other assets I found were not getting the praise or publicity I felt they deserved. So here is my little series, hopefully it will get bigger over time.

The videos will be a mix of assets that I have spent my money on and some that are provided for review. However both would get the same treatment, no favouritsm here. While I try actively to support indie developers, I do give my true opinion now matter how blunt (eeeerm non suger coated) it may be. So I would like to apologise in advance if anyone is offended or upset by any of the reviews or the scores they get.

These are just my opinions and maybe help some people out there. To be fair I try to score out of 5 but the top 5 mark is something that has to be really special.
A score of 2.5 is what I would call a decent score for a middle of the road asset, nothing really amazing or special but doesnt do anything really badly either.

Each has a shameless link to the asset store. I havnt posted their scores below, otherwise kind of defeats the purpose of watching the video.

Congrats! Where in the world did you get the stuff for that environment? And love the idea of a Horse Animset + Ultimate Survival tut video. Been rebuilding my project and syncing with git after a couple of system crashes, but will be digging into your videos again soon. Been missing the Ultimate Survival ones… :stuck_out_tongue:

Just giving you a hard time… heheh Reviews are easier to do… Maybe 1 tut vid per 2-3 reviews or something like that would probably be good. Enjoying your review videos too. Looking forward to the next one since it looks like an asset I don’t own. :slight_smile:
