I am new here and I work ‘normally’ with Torque TGE 1.3 (Garage Game), but now Unity has aroused my interest because I thought that it seems definitely more “accessible”.
On that occasion I have 2 questions and hope for help:
On a my friend’s Lenovo laptop is “the button” to’ full window’ faded out in Unity’s Webplayer and cannot be activated … What is wrong here? His computer is’ completely new’ with Windows Vista?
When I have fetched a project into the Editor and can exicute it from the “Game scene”, why can I not see the same project in the ‘Scene’ window  ?
@ 2: You have to fetch a scene before you can see it, to fetch a project only doesn’t do it…
of course… me idiot…
But…
I can still not find an explanation on why a completely new computer with Windows Vista cannot/must show ‘full screen’s pictures’ with the Unify Webplayer?? Does the problem lie in the computer or in the Webplayer?
Still hopes for a little help or references here…. Jan from Hillerod .
I would advise you to read the entire FAQ since it answers a lot of common questions.
Maybe the scene camera is not poiting towards anything in the scene? Try selecting an object in the Hierachy view and press f while the mouse cursor is inside the scene view. This should make the scene view center on the selected object. The documentation has more info on how to use the different views in Unity.
Okay… I’d read FAQ thoroughly through before I get up courage to ask about something again .
I can just report that mixed IE8 and XP does do not give problems (full screen) for me, but in reverse order does it tell me at the same time that a ‘Web games solution’ isn’t particularly important right now for rather many just at the moment? Many people has a mix of IE8 and Vista…
And what brings Windows 7? Hope for the best…
