Other than that, it is a solid foundation for a game. The game, for me, lagged really bad, to the point of being near unplayable. On the main menu, I would suggest making on mouse over buttons. Then, I would suggest making a loading screen between the main menu and the level. Upon the first time booting the game, I could not tell if it was unresponsive or if it was loading. This gives me a vibe as being close to the Slender game, I presume that is what it is based off of? Here is a link to a post that will help you get started: “How to make a Slender man follow character script - Questions & Answers - Unity Discussions”. Make sure you give him a “thumbs up” for taking the time to write out a comprehensive guide such as that
Omg sorry if it cause you lag, the unity engine in my computer run very fast, well dont worry about that i will make 2 versions of the game (one light and one heavy) so yes iam workind on the loading screen and seeying the link you send to me, thanks you for the help :).
Have you tried to test the lag with a build of the game, as opposed to the in-game one? I have found that you can get some different performance results when the two are compared. Otherwise, have you made any progress? Any new images, videos, builds to share?
Yeah, i have new things out, check this http://prolinecorp.blogspot.com.ar/
In there i will show updates and more stuff, thanks you for test the game, that really help us
I love horror games like this. I’ll make sure to try the demo soon.
One thing I would suggest is to have a unique selling point. It looks a lot like slender to me.
Why not make the environment the enemy? Have the trees attack you, the ground try to swallow you up, give the fog and tree routes a mind of their own and stuff like that. maybe even include the ghosts of the forest’s previous victims.
This will put the player into a situation where they never feel safe.
yeah, thats a pretty cool idea, its a really good one .Well thanks you for that idea .Heres the most new Demo, we are workind in the story so the current enemy wil no attack you, when we public the final version will have a lot of cools things for check out… https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B06di60kS_nSeVZWSEx2VlpPV1k/edit
I couldnt even play your game without lagging very badly… If your trees have animation bock checked on, then turn it off. It will speed your game up considerably. This looks pretty good so far. Wanna check my horror game out? Its called Bygone Fields Look it up on youtube!
Hi i check you game and the truth is it lookss great!!! if you put a demo i will test it in no time…
Well dont worry about the trees and that, they cause to many lag because they have to many vertex, i know it and i will fix it in the final version, the story begin when i use the blender tree modeler and i export the models and tahts why i use that trees.
Well good luck with your game, and wish me luck, untill i know alot of blender game engine i dont know most of unity game engine but that wont stop me
Nice progress, maybe you should include some of your recent images onto the first post. First impressions are important and a few people are to lazy to explore the rest of the post.
