How can I achieve a smooth collision with Cinemachine?

By that, I don’t mean just changing the damping settings of the Cinemachine Collider. I need a big radius around the camera which will basically be the “soft zone” of the camera (basically act like a suspension), and a smaller radius for the “dead zone” which will instantly pull itself no matter the damping.

This already exists in the VC’s Composer settings. I don’t know why they haven’t implemented that to the Collider, or maybe I am missing something.

AFAIK, the current Cinemachine Collider only triggers within the “dead zone”, so no matter what the damping is, it will go through the colliders and still manage to look weird on bumpy surfaces. That’s why I need a soft and a dead zone, or whatever similar.

Maybe ask this on the actual Cinemachine subforum where the Cinemachine dev actually frequents: Unity Engine - Unity Discussions
