How can I achieve this camera perspective?

Hello,

I was wondering if it was possible and how I could achieve a camera rendering like the second image in this gallery (The top-down view): https://www.artstation.com/artwork/the-maarble-sanctum

You’ll notice that it’s not ortographic, since the walls in each room are all angled outwards, and perspective would work only on one room, but not for the whole set.

Thanks!

You cant. Only if you deform level mesh. Its just a picture, not real 3d scene. The perspective is inconsistent and camera cant render different in different parts of screen.

I agree with battou - as far as my limited knowledge is regarding 3D cameras, but it’s a cool look.
If you were only rendering this as a map, or image - this could be accomplished with your solution - render with perspective camera one room at a time then composite them together.
Don’t know if that could be done real-time or not, but would be a really cool thing to prototype.

Thanks for the answers!

If I created every room separately, how could I render them and export them in high quality as a transparent png for future stitching?

Personally I’d look at an external process to get the high res image - then stitch together for use in Unity, but I’m an artist not a code guy.
