How can I calculate where rigidbody is going?

Hi! I have a ball, I’m working on a football game and I’m writing a goalkeeper AI, I think if I can get where the ball is going, so I can make the goalkeeper jump to exact place? Is there a way to do it?
And I would really love to hear any ideas or references for creating a GK AI.

I have an idea, but I don’t know how easy it would be to implement. If you kept a log of the exact position of the ball each Update() frame, you could script it so your goalkeeper follows that track to the point on the goal where it would hit. You’d have to be careful when scripting the vertical movement of the ball, but that’s how I would do it. Just an idea.
