How can i change the color of an image by passing the mouse over it?

I’ve never used unity before sorry, so i have very limited knowledge.

I have to make this little game when i have this triangles and circles, when i pass the mouse over them, they have to change their colors. I don’t know how to make that, if you could help that would be great, thank you!!!

ps. the color has to stay.

I’d look into using an EventTrigger on each item and hooking up responder functions to change the colors as you like.
