I’m sorry if this is really obvious, but as an asset developer I don’t see a way to download my own package from the asset store. When logged into the asset store I see a ‘Buy’ button instead of an ‘Open in Unity’ button, and I don’t see a way to get it through the publisher control panel either.
Why would I want to download my own package? Because it makes be very nervous that the last stage of the asset store submission process involves packaging the asset and submitting it in a single step. It seems there is no opportunity to test the asset I actually submit. Sure, I can create a package myself an verify that it works, but I still don’t get the verify the actual version I send to Unity.
I could download it !
In the asset store(webbrowser) near by the Buy button is a Unity Icon, Klick on it and it open it in Unity.
there is now no Buy Button, but a download button. Klick on it.
AFAIK, the “publisher” interface to the asset store and the “consumer” interface to the asset store are, essentially, separate. You can’t open the asset store window and download assets that you created as a publisher - only assets you purchased as a consumer.
I can see your argument why the publisher should automatically be considered a legitimate downloader of the asset, but I don’t think you can. Perhaps it is because allowing you to download might be linked to a purchasing/invoicing system?
