Hello,
I am making a game with Unity and Final IK. I have created a quadruped, following the example from the Final IK demo (Grounder). However, the feet of my quadruped, as well as those in the demo, appear in a very strange way. In my case, the feet are pointing upwards. I don’t know how to fix it.
I’ve been studying the issue. When I was working with my old MacBook Pro (macOS Monterey V 12.6), I had no problems with Final IK. But now I’ve bought a new computer: MacBook Pro (macOS Monterey V 12.6.8). I’ve migrated the game I was working on from one computer to the other, and I’ve only had issues with Final IK. All the other assets have worked fine (TPC from Opsive worked well too).
The Unity version I’ve been using is 2020.2.1f1 Intel. With this version, I had no issues on the old Mac. Then I tried changing the version, and I noticed that if I use 2022.3.6f1 Silicon, Final IK works correctly. The problem is that I don’t want to migrate my Unity 2020 project to 2022 because it breaks the project. But I’m explaining this in case you know how I can make Final IK work on my new Mac, which uses an Apple M1 Pro chip, while sticking with the Unity 2020 version.
I’m attaching two images for you to see how the Final IK demo looks using the Unity 2020 version, and in the other one, using the 2022 version. In both cases, with my new MacBook Pro V 12.6.8.
