That’s just intelisense, it’s part of the normal visual studio. Make sure you have setup visual studio as your tool for editing in the preferences window. Then double click the script file in Unity and it should work.
It is intellisense, and it should be installed along with C# support.
He’s talking about visual studio CODE, and not visual studio. Also, Visual Studio Code recently had a bug where it couldn’t properly initialize launch.json file. That can result in intellisense not working properly.
guys, finally I fixed the problem, it was just installing some extensions. But thank you for trying to help me
Ah the screenshots look so similar
Check out Jetbrains Rider if you want the best IDE for coding Unity projects.
Check the link below for everything you need to set it up.
It costs money, which is something that needs to be mentioned, because the alternatives don’t.
Though it does come with the upside that it never seems to break which can’t be said of Visual Studio Code.
For a minimum buy-in of $140 it damn well better not break.
They stack discounts for every year you stay subscribed (twice I think). My next Rider payment will be only €83.00.
Jason Weimann (https://www.youtube.com/c/Unity3dCollege) gives away free keys on his weekly gamedev show. His giveaway system is mostly automated. You just hop into his stream, enter a couple commands to add yourself to the pool, and it runs the giveaway after a period of time has passed in the stream.
That doesn’t change the minimum buy-in. If you pay for 12 months of a rider subscription, you have that version forever. That’s buying in. The minimum you can do that for is $140.
I’m not saying it changes the buy-in. I’m saying it gets cheaper for loyal subscribers and that it’s well worth the money.
