How can ii get a video to play on the forum page?

When i drag a video on it says unknown extention.

Looks like its loaded to youtube first is that the way to do it? I would like to drag a video in the same way as one would drag a picture to the forum.

There is a media button in the text editor , there you can supply the url to the video.
Adding a youtube video per drag and drop is not supported.
