How do I connect a slider to control the opacity of a parent object containing multiple lights?

I’m extremely new to this. I’ve built a 3D space using cinema4D. Now in Unity, I’ve added the lighting for the cove lights and wanted to control the “brightness” (opacity) of the group of lights using a slider. Scripting-wise where would I start, to control the opacity of the group? are there certain names or tags to associate with the group or individual light sources that will make this process more understandable for a 100% newbie.

If you’re a total newbie i’d suggest using Playmaker to achieve what you are trying to do, I will be doing some tutorials about playmaker on my web site soon, you should check it out because it has a buch of cinema 4d tutorials and c4d to unity tutorials too :smiley:
