How do I disable hotkey Shift+E exiting the game?

I have a high scores table where the user can enter a custom name at the end. However, when I press “Shift+E” to type a capital “E”, Unity exits the game! Is there a way to turn this off so I can type a capital “E”? I handle each key individually in an if statement nested under another if statement to determine if Shift is pressed or not.

For example:

if (Input.GetKey(KeyCode.LeftShift) || Input.GetKey(KeyCode.RightShift))
{
    if (Input.GetKeyDown(KeyCode.E))
    {
        playerName += "E";
    }
}
PlayerNameTextMesh.text = playerName;

This should only happen if running the game from within the editor. In a standalone build, the default hotkeys are not present.
