Hi, I’m a total newbie at unity so I’m trying to download some sample projects to look at the code and mess around with them but I can’t seem to find a download button, I’ve also tried the option Open in unity but nothing happens. Can anybody lend me a hand?
You have to browse for assets in Unity to download them. The Asset Store will just link you to open in the editor.
- Go to Window → Asset Store
- Search for what you want like you did in a web browser
- Once you get to the page Open in Unity will be replaced by Download
