How do i fix this splash screen fade freeze on android

Encountering a bug when exporting to Android on certain devices. The splash screen pixelates and fades away on most devices, but on some freezes like this:

So far seen on LG G3, Moto x 2015 pure, and LG G2

All running some version of 5.0, but i’m not sure if that’s related.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Fixed! Apparently you MUST have a MainCamera in your startup scene, or Unity will get all weird about rendering!

Camera => Clear Flags => Depth only
