A Unity person has incorrectly closed the question as “duplicate.”
I am such a noob that the system here does not even allow me to vote down the user for closing my topic, let alone re-open it.
It was a detailed Physics methodology question … and the Unity person pointed me at another “Answer” that actually says to use an even more inaccurate method than the one I was asking about. (My method was a Velocity Verlet (2nd-Order), and the editor recommended a 1st-Order method, that is a whole order of magnitude more inaccurate).
For reference, the question I posted was:
The Unity person (“unitymechanic”) pointed me at an “answer” that actually answered exactly 0 of my 4 explicit questions… Basically, the Editor either didn’t read my question in detail or didn’t understand it before quashing it – which reflects poorly on this forum. This is my first (and probably now my last) use of this forum, since not only was my question not answered, my very legitimate question got quashed by an Editor.
(I think people can see why I am a bit annoyed by this whole process).
Thanks greatly for explaining this! (it's much appreciated)
