Ive never used unity before and im confused how do i make or get an animation?
For more complex characters, you can either make animations yourself using a tool like Blender or Maya, buy them on the asset store, or use an online tool like Mixamo to create a character with animations.
If you need something simple (like if you just need a sword to move in an arc or some other basic motion) you could just create an animation clip in Unity and hook that up.
