How do I get my character to look like this?

Not totally sure if I am posting this in the correct forum, apologies if not, I hope I am. Basically, I have designed, modelled, rigged and normal mapped this character here and am about to texture him.

I want to do real time render of him in a game engine (Unity), but I also would like to do a composited render of him too. I wondered if the same principles would apply for both renders in terms of texturing, or whether I would have to use different methods of texturing to get the best result from each.

And mainly, I would appreciate some advice on how I might achieve the look of the character that is shown in this concept art. I would like to get him looking as close to this as possible, in Unity.
