How do I get tiles to appear in the Tile Pallet?


When I drag in a sprite to make it into a tile, it doesn’t show up in the tile pallet. I can paint it onto a grid however. I understand this used to be a bug, but it was patched in unity 2018. I am using 2019.3 (tried with 2019.2 and lots of other versions)

Is there any way to overcome this bug?

Heads up: I am using the LWRP 6.7.1 in 2D which is working just fine.

Just seems like a bug. I hope this gets fixed soon. If not, I’ll file a ticket.
