How do I import a 3d file from thefree3dmodels.com into unity?

Download it, import it, done. More informations about what the website provides you might be usefull though.

I have the same problem and though the model ,which is obj. works, the animations nor the colours for the model work. I believe the animations are mtl. and the colour must be dds. you see it’s actually a folder instead of a file (well for me anyway).

Now PVRK,1 go to the assets menu,2 click import new asset,3 try to find your model and open it,4 click on the obj. file.
that should give you a still, white model ONLY. please help me with my problem on the top
