How do I keep terrain details from going through my mesh?

Is it possible to either hide the foliage or physically crush it when this door is open?

Ooof. I’d file that one under “hard.” :slight_smile:

One way: have an extra one-sided flat mesh door, set it on a different layer and show it with a camera that is “clear depth” and layers atop your main camera view.

Another way: make the door different, like have the solid pressure vessel door pull aside laterally and a steel grid ramp spring down so it doesn’t seem so wrong when bushes poke through the grid.

Google up water poking through the bottom of rowboats… analogous problem.
