How do I make a sprite a ground in a 2D platformer?

I use CharacterRobotBoy or whatever, but I’ve changed the sprite. I have 2 layers for the platformer stage. The sky and the platforms. I created a layer called “platforms” and added the platforms sprite to that layer, and set that layer in “What is ground”. So it should be ground, right? But I fall through it. Help please?

  • And Box Collider 2D won’t work, I’ve tried it, and that makes the whole sprite a box, including the transparent pixels. So I’ll float up to the top, where there are transparent pixels.

If you sprite is not a box then the box collider is the wrong choice.
Try the “Polygon Collider 2D” That should fit itself to your non transparent area.

Thanks! It doesn’t work perfectly, as shown in this video.

If you know how to solve it, feel free to reply, but you don’t have to, it was just a little test.

Looks like to automatic collider generation did not work out so nice.
You can edit the polygon collider t fit to your level geometry.

But there must be an easier way, right? To make them solid objects.

Six years ago they gave up on you… Did you ever solve this?
