How do I make a turret for a unity game?

I am new to unity so I was just wondering, how do I make a turret or download one for free. I can do all the scripting myself but I would appreciate any information on how or where I could get one.

If you follow the tornado twins' tutorials on youtube, it will definitely help with getting to know unity. http://www.unityprefabs.com/wormgame-cartoony-series-tutorial.html is the link to where the prject files are for that, video 9 and 18 have two different turrets. simple, but useable.

Unity have a resource page in where you can read some tutorials. One of the tutorials is a first person shooter. It has a section about turrets:

I'm not sure what you want your turret to do, or what type of game you are building.
