How do I make glossy surfaces

For an architectural visualization project I need to add glossy surfaces to make, say, ceramic countertops and metal appliances realistic. I don’t have Unity Pro. How can I achieve this?

Apparently lightbaking won’t work, since the reflection should move when the FPS controller camera moves. A step by step walkthrough of this (I am a newbie) would be appreciated.

You’ll probably want a Specular Shader which has shininess as a parameter, as a start. A bumped specular shader allows for a bumpmap which can give texture (depth) to the surface. But you may want to look into Allegorighmic’s procedural shaders which allow for all that and more.

i would recommend hard surface shaders in the asset store which has a free package and a pro one. the pro one requires unity pro so you can not use it.
allegorithmic textures for what you mentioned are good too. take a look at their website and the relevant catagories.
