How do I make my sound work in proper 3D space for VR

So, when my gun fires I play a gunfire sound effect, and I want it to sound like it’s actually coming from the position of the gun when the game is played in VR. How do I do this? This is something I clearly need to figure out because I’ll obviously want to use this for basically all the sound in my game.
