how do i put web player on webpage

hi,
i have a map and built it as web player. how to i put it on my webpage, sorry if there is a relly simple awnser to this question

simply upload the html page and the unity3d web player build to your website if you have one?

If you do not have a website you will need to create one first

Then use a FTP tool to upload the html file and the created webplayer build.

I use transmit to do this.

However there are a number of free ftp tools to do this

i uploaded the 2 files to webs.com but how do i get it from my files on there to my webpage, there is no FTP tool

webs .com creates a template and not a proper website…

you will need to use a bonefide web hosting site such as Lycos…Lycos is free and wont cost you a penny however if you want to go pro you can pay pay for your own website I use the emailshop costs around twenty five pounds for a year…

ok they changed it use to be free a few years back…

If you want to find a free site to upload your unity build suggest you post a newthread and ask the community reckon there are a few members out there who are using free sites to display there work.

or just trawl the net sometrhing will turn up for sure.

ok i have a problem i wont let me upload it to my tripod lycos website

not sure why that would be a issue at a lost why you cannot upload unless it does not except a paticular file format.

perhaps you will have to post that thread i suggested earlier regarding what free hosting site the community is using to promote there projects

hi,
i managed to upload them but i have downloaded a cusum template overwritten the index.html with the new one but nothing has happend when i click the preview button in the html editor the template looks right , i would use one of there templates but i dont like any of them.

step 1 simply upload the unity web build and the unity html file do not change or modify.
