How do some people have 16,000,000 posts?

How does Levan have millions of posts.

If you look at members listed from the highest Total Posts, there are a few of them.

Thats a hack

http://forum.unity3d.com/profile.php?mode=viewprofile&u=20907

It shows he has no recent posts, and joined like a month ago, not possible.

Its a hack. If you look, it says this:

14254.22 posts per day

and I have never even heard of him.

one thought, what the heck is the point lol. :?: :?: :?:
def a hack though. I haven’t seen him either

Woo Rank 240 !!!

Lol, I noticed this a week ago.

lol. someone has absolutely no life at all.

lol.

points and laughs

Is that aimed at me?

or me, oh and lol rank 239

Wow. The maturity on this thread is through the roof. If you bothered to read the one post he keeps on this forum, he admitted that when he created an account on these forums, his post count got glitched. Not everyone is out to make a large post count and most people don’t care about post count.

its a joke Discord, lighten up, doesnt really matter. oh wait i just ranked up, jk jk.

The only person who could have legitimately got that post count is Dreamora.

16777215 is the highest number you can get with a 24-bit unsigned integer. Why it’s 24 bits? I have no idea.

So basically that is the highest number of post your post count can count?

After that you will be a ghost…

I reckon if you made that many useful comments you will probably get hired by Unity as an all round master of all things Unity and if they subscribe to the same philosophy as Herbalife does that “the more important you become, the harder people must work to get to hear you speak” then they will probably silence you for life, keeping all your knowledge for themselves only…

On the other hand, if you have made that many useless comments like this one, then they would probably ban you for the sake of everyone’s wasted time…

…either way, you will exists… but not anywhere where you can be heard…
Ohhhhhhhhhhhh…

P.s. It’s been a while since someone brought up the “Make a 1000 posts and get a free Pro License” issue… Oh wait… I just did :stuck_out_tongue: He he he

24 bits is 3 bytes. So the forum uses 3 bytes to store the total post count. Probably as 16 bits would not go high enough and would most likely be able to be overflowed by a user who has been a member for multiple years. Which after doing the math(on wikipedia ), 16 bits would max post counts at 65,536. Clearly they needed to add another byte in case someone made more than 65,536 posts.
