For analytics reasons, we need to distinguish in-app purchases from promo code activation. Is there a way to do it?

Promo Code activation on the Google Play Store simply applies an offer to the purchase, but these are treated the same as a purchase. There’s no way for us to distinguish from both with the information returned by the Google Play Store.
If you are able to distinguish them yourself, would it be helpful if we let you control when Analytic events are registered (an extra parameter to ConfirmPendingPurchase)?
