How do you create a 2D-3D effect like 13 Sentinels Aegis Rim?

I’m a relative beginner here, trying to figure out the right keywords to learn what I want to learn so forgive me if this has been asked before. I’d like to create a 2D 3D effect like 13 Sentinels Aegis Rim does, 2D layers that warp and mesh distort relative to the camera angle to create a “fake” 3D effect. I have watched and implemented parallax tutorials in my test project but I’m not entirely sure how to achieve the perspective feel. My guess would be to add a script that transforms an image relative to camera position…although I’ve no clue what functions to use and how to structure that.

Unless the entire game is all the same exact effect, you might want to post a screenshot of what you want to see, or a video with an actual timestamp. We’re not gonna go searching for your stuff.
