How do you link to your game in itunes from your game

hello
my game is finally on itunes

TAG UR DEAD…http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=325350735&mt=8

I want to make a lite version
so that I can link to the full version on itunes…

how would I go about doing that…

I’m using unity indie

I how that is possible…

You can not whit unity iPhone indie , but you can only whit unity iPhone Advence

Application.OpenURL ("http://unity3d.com/");

whit your link

 Application.OpenURL ("http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=325350735&mt=8");

thanks for the info.
I tried to do it and get an error saying
iphone basic doesn’t support it…
that really sucks…
it sucks big time…

how are you suppose the get any sales with a lite version of your game if people can’t click to the full version of the game in the app store…

the more I use unity iphone the more disappointed I get…

honestly…
if you are a person with iphone basic you
might as well not even make a lite version of your game
because
I doubt you are going to get any sales…

people get a lite version of a game
if they like it
they click the button that states get the full version and they go to the app store and click buy…

it’s that simple…
pure impulse buying…
without this ability with iphone basic
my guess is
you are going to loose 50% of your sales…

Admob has a new ad feature that let’s you place an ad for free within your own app with a link to another one of your apps. Haven’t read the details yet, but combined with the Enhancement Pack this could be an option for iPhone indie users to link to the full version from the lite version.

You cOuld always do it in Xcode. I have basic and got a link working through player prefs

Release the full version with iPhone basic. If it’s a decent game it will sell enough for you to be able to pay for the advanced version easily. Then release a lite version with a link.

Gonna think outside the square here…

Just buy the Pro license :stuck_out_tongue:

The product/license nomenclature needs to be kept straight y’all…

Unity Indie/Unity Pro: base desktop licenses

Unity iPhone Basic/Unity iPhone Advanced: add-on iPhone licenses.

Why is that important? People say “with Pro you can do ”, but that’s not necessarily correct as you might own Unity Pro + Unity iPhone Basic and you will not have access to Advanced features.

</public service announcement over license names>

And because I’ve been green-lit to mention it, we’re introducing Application.OpenURL support into iPhone Basic in the 1.1 release! That release is expected next week!

Next Week!!! WOOOOOOOOTTTTTTT!!!

Yay! Can’t wait for it!

Best news I’ve heard all week!

You’ve been waiting months to use ‘nomenclature’ in conversation, admit it.
