Hi.I have watched asset creation. in the process, they made about 4~5 images for normal, albedo, height, etc.

4 images per just one object… if there are just 100 objects thats 400 images and 100 materials. for newbie like me that sounds crazy. How do they managing folders ? Is there a particular way to sort those ? something like zipping them including materials? in the low poly asset creation just one big image that contains many color is linked to one material and the material manages all the low poly objects.

since I don’t know workflow I only imagine.

I think it comes down to what you can keep up with. Any route you go with will have a lot of keep up with. some put each material / texture / model into its own folder. Others might put all materials in their own folder and all models in their own. I like a blend of these, putting models and their textures with similar functions in their own folders - like enemies all together, environment all together, items altogether. But, that’s probably just me.
