the MonoDevelop on my computer is not working with Unity5.1.2f1 so I want to reinstall it but when I go to the MonoDevelop site it is a different version that what unity uses.
Is there a way to re download it with out re-downloading unity?
If you are on windows, I highly recommend to use Visual Studio instead of MonoDevelop. Together with Visual Studio Tools for Unity a.k.a. UnityVS you can connect Visual Studio with Unity (to open code files in Visual Studio or to debug your code).
Visual Studio is so much better than MonoDevelop that I would consider using Windows instead of a Mac, if you work on a mac
