How do you track your game's exposure on the web?

Is there any way to track when and where your game pops up on the web? I.e. review sites, etc.

The only tool that I’ve found was Google Alerts. It would be nice if it was possible to track things so you could see cause effect.

There are subscription services that will watch the various outlets and search engines for you, but anything worth monitoring will cost you money. You can also create a custom Google Search that will notify you every time your game pops up in a blog post or news website. You can also use Google Analytics to track game plays, usage, etc. I am sure there are others that I don’t know about, forgot to mention or, more likely, I am just too damn lazy to type out.

Take a look at Lumos, an analytics service I lead the development of. If you have a web game, it records the domain that players are accessing the game from for your later perusal. It’s free to use.
