How do you turn a Object toward mouse using a Configurable Joint using Configurable Joint Extension

I keep on trying to do this but it ends up pointing down or spazzing out

Using a Configurable Joint to do this can be tricky because these joints are more about physics constraints and less about direct pointing or rotation like you need.

Make sure the joint’s anchor points are set up correctly. If the anchor is off, the object might not rotate the way you expect.
To point towards the mouse, you might need to use a script to calculate the direction from your object to the mouse position. Then, use this direction to adjust the joint’s target rotation.

In a nutshell, while a Configurable Joint gives you lots of control over physics constraints, making an object smoothly follow the mouse might require a combo of joint settings and scripting to get the rotation right and keep things stable.
