How feasible is it to make semicolons optional?

“Real” Javascript has semicolons for line breaks as optional. So do a lot of other languages. How hard is it to do the same thing for Unity? Why or why not? I would really like it…

Learn boo. I think there’s no semicolons there;

But it has other annoyances that outweigh the benefit of no semicolons

Having semicolons allows you more flexibility and safety for how you format your code. While occasionally they can be slightly irritating, it’s much more useful to sometimes break statements over multiple lines for clarity, without any chance of bad things happening. It’s generally recommended not to omit semicolons in “real” Javascript anyway.
