How in the world do we use the "Buy Additional Licenses" feature of the asset store?

I had previously purchased the Unity Editor Extension asset “Nested Prefabs”:

My team mate now needs this asset, and I want him to be able to update it etc. without bothering me… so I purchased an “additional license” – but we can’t figure out how to actually get this “additional license” to the other team member.

The invoice has come through to my email with no further instructions, or license information.

We did the obvious thing and clicked on the “Help” link, and looked at this question:

This line of text found in the link above is ridiculously vague, and doesn’t describe at all how to actually use the extra license and download the asset on his version of Unity:
“Once you have purchased multiple seats (copies) of an Asset you can allow team members/others to use the Asset without any issues.” – wat?

When he goes to the asset store in Unity, it just says “Add to cart”… this is obviously not what we want.

How in the world do we use this “additional license”? How does he apply/download it?

Potentially even more importantly… why is it so difficult to find out this sort of thing??

It just allows you (leagaly) to give the asset to your other colleges it does not include any download possibilities in any other Unity account.
Sounds like something they have to better integrate into the “new” organization structure system.

Thanks for the reply fffMalzbier, yeah definitely something that needs better “collaboration” features. As the CEO, I don’t really want to be spending parts of my day pulling, updating, commiting when new asset updates are available. We’ll know for next time to buy assets on one of the dev’s accounts.
