How Is Total Play Time Per Active User Defined?

Hi there,

I was wondering how “total play time per active user defined”? Is this drawn from a sample of all players? Or is it based only on returning players? Players with some minimum threshold of game time?

I’m wondering because we’re getting totally conflicting numbers between Unity Analytics and Game Analytics regarding average session length (which I am calculating by dividing play-time-per-user by sessions-per-user).

Total Daily Play Time Per Active User is based off of your Daily Active Users count. Sum up all their session lengths (no minimum threshold), and divide by your DAU count.
