How long does it take for my assets to be reviewed?

I’m not being impatient but as I am bored and have little to do, how long does it take for assets to be reviewed normally, or how long did it take you guys after submission? Also, do you get emailed or how do they contact you in regards to feedback and/or status of submission process?

Is quite different actually. Intial submission took about a week and a day or so. But I had cases when I was lucky and my submission went right through (at least it felt like this). So speaking of time it can take between a day and 3 weeks or so.

In case something’s wrong with your asset you will surely get an email from Unity’s people, however you may see the status of your submission being already declined without getting an email - it may take some time here and there.

I never got a message when the review was passed and the asset went online.

It completely depends on when you submitted and how swamped they are with submissions. My updates have generally been approved more quickly than my initial submission. Initial submission I believe was near two weeks. Updates have been anywhere from 3 days to a week and a half. It’s also going to depend on the type and breadth of the asset. Larger assets will take longer to verify as will more complex ones. IMHO, the wait is excruciating sometimes but it’s perfectly reasonable.

You get an automated email when the asset goes online (also when initially submitting), so they’ve probably been going into your spam folder.

Maybe… I’ve occasionally had them passed and never received a message as well.

Also, as I do not have a developer website, am I able to use a twitter page as the url?

Just thought I’d bump this thread with my own thoughts while I blindly await the acceptance/rejection of my first submission to the AssetStore.
Well, it’s been 8 days now, and I’ve already managed to whip up some of the content I promised for the next update after the initial release…
Anyone know if I should simply await my first submission to go through, or “if” I update my submission with the new content too… does that put me to the back of the line again?

Waiting is crazy… Heck, I’d volunteer to be a content reviewer for the AssetStore, just to let the submission process become a little easier! :smile: Hear that Unity! I’m volunteering 5 hours a week right now! Contact me!
